BARC is a charitable organisation run by a combination of volunteers and part-time paid staff. Its objective is to promote the efficiency of the Armed Forces through the provision of services and support for the well-being of Service personnel and the advancement of animal welfare within British Forces Cyprus.

The support and services provided to Service personnel and the BFC community provide our only regular sources of funding. These services include a pet boarding facility, two shops and the pet movement service for those posted between Cyprus and the UK, as well as other overseas locations. Income derived from these services is vital to BARC’s ability to provide shelter, care and treatment for abandoned and stray animals in need and giving them ultimately an opportunity to be rehomed with a Service family.

Volunteers and staff are encouraged to ensure that our services are accessible and open to all within the BFC community. So it is only through your custom that we can continue with the work that we do and for which we are grateful.
