SBA Lost/Stray Dog Procedure

If you find a stray or lost dog the correct procedure is to contact the SBA Police on 25967227.

·      The SBA Police will arrange to come and collect the dog/s and take them to the SBA Police Station where they will be checked for a microchip and registered owner.  Unfortunately CMWDS and BARC are unable to accept strays directly.

·      If the dog has an owner they will be contacted so that they can be reunited.

·      If the dog is found to be a stray then the SBA Police then contact The Cyprus Military Working Dog Section (CMWDS) who are funded by the SBA for a short time to care for the dog and seek a home.  If there is space at BARC and the dog is found to be suitable for rehoming then BARC always try and help.

Great news!

Mother and Son, Tammy and Mr Fluffy have been adopted together!

They are now living with the lovely Sterling family.

We couldn't be happier with the fact that they will stay together forever, we love a happy ending!

Do you think you could offer a cat a forever home? Please visit our rehoming page if you can...
